Running boards worked very well. It was a very easy installation, approximately 1.5 hours. I tell you I cringe when instructions say mount to body mount bolts, but on a 2000 GMC Sierra, they are only torqued to 55 lbs, and were easy off easy on. Now for those that don't know, when attached to body mounts as these are, they will flex a tiny bit. I weigh 200 lbs and for me it's not an issue. Anyway, I think they look great and more importantly serve the purpose of easy entry/exit.Cheers,G:
