The NortiV8 light hiking shoe is well constructed and comfortable. Because of my previous experience with the company’s product I purchased 2 pairs . Advertised as a possible trail running shoe after buying them I think the shoe is strong enough to be used in trail running for a limited mile life of 100 miles . I base this on my experience as a former marathon runner . I going to use the shoe as a training shoe in the gym . I’ve already run about 25 miles on an elliptical trainer wearing the new shoe and am very pleased . I recommend the shoe as a low cost budget trainer .
