These are so cute and comfortable!! I am a runner, so I did buy these for running. I owned a few pairs of these way back when they first came out but switched to more colorful shorts and donated them to my school's cross-country team because they are such awesome shorts. I have just gone up a size from a small to a medium, and I don't like the larger size from the company I usually buy from, but I remembered liking my Flipbelt shorts, so I bought these and a few other pairs from other brands. I wore them yesterday and went for a run. I use a wallet case phone which never fits in built-in pockets, but it fit in both the front open pockets and the back zippered pocket. Flipbelt products have different types of pockets, but you can read about those in the description.I get dressed to run as soon as I get out of bed and have my coffee and relax. At first, I was concerned because they felt a little tight, but it didn't last. They were so comfortable, and I felt so good wearing them that I ended up changing out of the rest of my clothes after my run but putting shorts back on. I can't wait to get more pairs.One leg did ride up a little during my run, but it was never uncomfortable. I wouldn't have noticed at all except that I specifically check for that problem on all running shorts.I highly recommend these.
