They are functional, fairly easy to install, and look good. Keep bolts loose in order to achieve good alignment; then tighten. Don't neglect the center support which mounts to the bracket that holds your body to the chassis. Some people think it is unnecessary. You will need a 16 mm socket to remove the factory mounting bolts (rusty in my case). Not convinced that these running boards are made of stainless steel. Seems like aluminum to me. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase.
