I recently traded my Chevy Colorado for a new 2022 sand Colorado Z71 and needed some running boards. This has the taller tires and front spacers so it sits a bit higher than my other truck. I had chrome rails on the previous truck, but decided black would go better with the sand and black truck. I ordered these TAC Sidewinder running boards and they were shipped out the next day. I got them two days after ordering; super fast. TAC has these boxed very well. Each running board is wrapped the entire length with bubble wrap and the ends are wrapped even more. The mounts are actually much heavier gauge steel than my old ones. Installation is super easy (especially having done a pair on my old truck). Your instructed to install the mounts on the passenger side first. Leave the mounts slightly loose and then place the boards on them and install the bolts. I tightened the frame/mount bolts first, followed by the running board bolts. I would suggest using threadlocker so the bolts stay tight. Installation takes between 30 - 45 minutes (depending how fussy you are). I have included some pictures of the TAC Sidewinder running boards installed. I think these look good, especially if you have a truck that doesn't have chrome, but a color/black combo. I opted for these as they stay up close to the cab bottom, covering the bottom body seam. I think the design gives my truck a higher look than boards that hang down several inches the entire length. You can judge for yourself.
