The word DAD is cut out of the front layer, and the D's are in the shape of C-Clamps, then filled with a copper colored hard, glossy resin. Very detailed, all the way down to the hand painted nails on each board. Front layer is stained in Early American Finish and sealed in clear laquer, and back layer is painted black with a protective coating.
